Ilyasah speaks on nationwide unrest

ATLANTA — In the wake of the civil unrest over the recent police shootings, the daughter of civil rights activist Malcolm X spoke out on Thursday saying her father would urge leaders of Black Lives Matter to have a more defined strategy and a specific goal.

Ilyasah Shabazz is in Atlanta promoting her new book about her father – “X: The Novel”.

Earlier in the day she stopped by 11Alive studios and shared with Brenda Wood what her father would say about the current troubled times in America.
